Septic Tanks

Septic tanks are used for treating raw household sewage to a level suitable for aerobic treatment in the ground. In the septic tank, the process of separation and fermentation of sludge takes place with the help of anaerobic bacteria. Contaminants are separated into solid particles that settle at the bottom of the tank, a light substance that forms a scum layer on the surface of the sewage, and substances that dissolve in water. Additionally, a special filter is involved in the purification process, designed to filter the liquid that flows from the septic tank into the distribution chamber.
